Former French president Nicholas Sarkozy has found his political career on edge after defeated on next French election race.
Sarcozy was defeated by his former minister Francois Fillon in round one of the presidential candidate race of the right-wing Republican party's of next coming election.

Fillon has won the nomination straight with 43%, Fillon voted against same sex marriage. He has one week battle with Alain Juppe who was mayor of Bordeaux, and prime minister under Jacques Chirac, over who could be better becoming the right-wing candidate.
Sarkozy said he felt "no bitterness, no sadness. Sarkozy added that he would now back Fillon in the final round of voting on 27 November.
