Armenia: Armed man seized police station needs politician release

Armed man seized police station and take hostages in Almenia's town of Yerevan and demands the release of politicians.

One police officer died in incident.

 The armed men demands 

to free the opposition politicians but mainly 

to free Jirair Sefilian.

 The police and special units they are at the scene and no any order to 

take more action has been introduced. 

The number of hostages taken 

not yet identified but 

two hostages manage to escape. 

The hostage takers message was posted in social media said

 "Dear compatriots. 

It has started. We ask every one to take to the streets; 

Our demand is to set free all political prisoners, 

and to be brought here"

Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan meeting with security 

officials to decide the best way

 to end the matter.
