Russian minister detained for bribe

A Russian Economy Minister Alexei Ulyukayev has been  charged with suspicious pocketed US$2-million payoff during a deal involving state controlled oil Rosneft.

Ulyukayev the 60-years old he become the first highest ranking officer to be detained for suspicious  corruption since Putin government came to power.

Ulyukayev had illegally said to be demanded payment to give his go ahead for Rosneft to acquire a majority stake from the state in Russia oil company Bashneft in US$55.2bilion deal, said Russian Investigative committee.
