Baghdad blast death toll rises to 149

The recent attack on a Baghdad shopping district death toll raised to 149, it was likely to increase further as rescuers were still search

on missing people and the

 number of wounded people was 185 of whom some of them were bad injured.

 The attacks came days after Iraq army recaptured 

the city of Falluja. 

Iraq officials claims that Baghdad has been struck upwards of 1,000 times, majority of those attacks targeting civilian areas frequented by the majority Shia sect such as

 market places, shopping strips, shrines 

and religious gathering.
