12 wounded in German after Syrian man explode near Ansbach music festival

Twelve people wounded and three are serious injured in German after a Syrian man

 carried a bomb explode. Police in Ansbach 

secure the area near 

Nuremberg. 

It was unclear 

if the man was planed suicide attack said the Interior Minister 

Jiachim Herrmann at

 news conference. 

Herrmann said the Syrian man was carrying a backpack filled 

explosives and metal parts 

that would have been 

sufficient to kill more people. If the incident relate to Islamist inspired 

attack would have to be confirmed by an 

investigations. the incident occurred near Ansbach 

Open Music festival more than 2,000 people 

evacuated from the festival after the 

explosion. 

Herman also said the Syrian man was apparently 

denied to entry in the festival. US intelligence said investigators would focus on

 what the bomber was doing before he left Syria,

 why he was denied asylum, 

and whether the attempted attack was

 personal or political.
