Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte want to confront al-Qaeda linked Abu Sayyaf Islamist militants

Duterte said the time comes I will have to confront the Abu Sayyaf, 

the kidnapping must stop.  

Duterte spoke out after had a meeting with Filipino woman who was 

successfully flees the kidnappers 

after nine months.
