The Indian bank State Bank of India (SBI) included in a list of banks Barclays, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse and Bank of America
which said to involved in supported seven producers of cluster munitions for over US$ 28 billions according to the Dutch campaigning group PAX.
SBI joined in "Hall of Shame" list of 158 banks and financial institutes around the world invested billions to support seven companies producing cluster bombs between June 2012 and April 2016.
PAX said the investment made in this cluster bomb producers despite the international ban and most of institutions listed in PAX were from countries whose not signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM) which bans use, producing, stockpiling and transfer of cluster munition.
